Shula's is one of the classiest bars around. The food was, as the price point led me to believe, fantastic. Even if the steak moves north of your budget, the burgers here are top notch and priced similarly to a red robins. The service here couldn't have been better, smiling faces who are eager to help. If you come between 1 and 4 you get the place to yourself! Still yet, it is the perfect spot for the evening dinner of two or more. You don't want to miss this place.

First, I'm more inclined to give 3.5 stars. I've come here before for happy hour, in which their discounted apps are amazing in taste and value. In fact this time, we ordered the beef tips, and they cane out perfect. On to the bad, my friend and I ordered rib eyes, the price was good, but both of our steaks were inconsistently cooked. Half medium rare, half medium well. Each bite was a surprise. I think that a place with a reputation for good steaks should have it come back perfect. Incidentally, I know its possible because Emeril's in city walk always comes back perfect. Also, I ordered the blue cheese chips as side 1, and they were way to salty. I know stonewood has the best, but I couldn't even finish these. The risotto was my other side. I liked it a lot actually, but my wife and friend said it was over cooked. Now in their defense, I didn't give them a chance to make it better. The waiter asked how the food was and I just kinda grunted. We were in a rush, and I didn't want to deal with it. And the steak was good, and the price was great especially for 2 sides and a premium cut. But they really should know how to cook one of their most expensive menu items properly. If it wasn't for this one bad experience, I might give a 4 stars, so I will re-review if I go back and try again.

Hands down, Joey gave some of the best service I've ever had at a restaurant. He was on point from the moment he approached our table. For a table that has never been to Shula's and was visiting from out of town he was informative, suggestive, enthusiastic, and sincere when talking to us! We were in this past weekend on Friday night, we spent the whole day at Disney World and just couldn't wait to eat! Joey suggested some appetizers and gave us full detail on the entree we were looking to order. The steak tips are a great app to share, cooked to perfection and garnished with dipping sauces that were to die for! My French Onion burger was killer, go ahead and try it! The cheese and onions were the right addition to the juicy burger. My two friends both add chicken Caesar salads that were delicious. Of course I tried some! I can't speak for any of the cocktails or alcohol because we only had soda but he kept refilling until we said not to. Dessert was handmade and one of the best key lime pies I've ever had. Guess since the Keys are not to far away! Overall I applaud Shula's for a great dinner and great service! Thanks again Joey for making us feel like home and not rushed or uncomfortable! You rock!!!

On weekends it can get noisy because the bar and dining room are joined. Take a booth at the far end or venture outside. Although I've had a bit of wilted lettuce in one salad, everything else has been tasty. You can't go wrong with the fish special and don't bypass the crabcakes.

Would give Shula's 6 stars if I could!! Went here last night for a little early birthday celebration. The hostess was so darling and informative about our seating options (it was happy hour in the front. $3.37 apps and drinks!) We opted for regular seating and it started to pour outside. The floor to ceiling windows offered a perfect view of the famous Florida mid-day storms. The booths were comfortable and private. The decor was beautiful. First impression, I like this place. And I don't know which to boast about next, our food or the service. Let's go food: Steak, huge, thick, juicy and cooked to perfection. Corn with bacon and buttery glazeyness from heaven. Smashed potatoes seasoned and fluffy. Crab cakes- also HUGE. Two 5oz cakes that were almost 100% crab meat throughout. (I'm a crab cake aficionado, Shula's just served me the best steak and crab cake I have ever had. Mind. Blown. I USED TO WORK IN A STEAK HOUSE!) Next: service. But not just service, my experience: Three words, Bravo Shula team! Every employee who walked past me made eye contact and smiled at me. Danny was our server. He is the epitome of what great service truly is. He made our time there so special, it would not have been the same without him. I got a Shula's birthday card and he told us a dessert was in our future. It was so delicious. He kindly boxed our food while we were diving into my birthday treat. On the way out the hostess said happy early birthday, and my immediate response: "awwww!!!" So rarely do hostesses leave an impression on you! Then on the drive home we did something people so rarely do when leaving a restaurant, talk about it like you just walked out of a movie. "OMG how good was that corn, and Danny, what a sweet heart, and we must make this our new Happy Hour place and I had such a good time and the food was the best i've ever had... etc etc etc" Just rambling banter about how happy we were with our experience. I can not wait to come back. Shula's 347 Lake Mary, you guys are kicking butt and taking names. I'll send everyone I know there and now i'm going to be a regular! Thank you guys for a FANTASTIC beginning to my birthday. :standing ovation:

Not that it's the restaurant's fault, but we stayed at the hotel and had a complimentary "continental" breakfast..options: hard boiled egg, fruit, muffin, bagel and maybe 1 or 2 more items. We had a hard boiled egg, and fruit, and it was mediocre. We can't really judge the restaurant by the breakfast, but the options were just so scarce I had to mention.

Great appetizers, drinks & dessert menu - not just the diverse main course! Tried their spinach & artichoke dip along with BBQ schrimp today.. was just fabulous!

A+++ happy hour. All the drink and apps are $3.47 and the atmosphere is decent. Nice mixed crowd with some local Lake Maryians and business professionals from the surrounding area. If your looking for a great happy hour look no farther.

Went there on a lunch meeting. Very professional staff and extremely clean. I was greeted at the front and promptly taken to a booth (which I love). I had a few mins before my guest arrived. The waitress suggested their beer/wine menu and brought my drink out right away. My guest showed up and apparently he has eaten there before because the waitress recognized him. She knew his order already and I requested a "well done" burger. My food came out perfect..she checked up on us regularly without being awkward and keep out table tidy. I love the selection of their lunch menu and will be back asap.

I had grilled mahi mahi with risotto and grilled asparagus. Unbelievable!!! This food was spectacular! I sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks and the service was top notch. Even the salad that I had before my meal was totally something to rave about. I would highly recommend eating here. Now this is one of my favorite restaurants!

Would have been 3 stars if it weren't for the hostess... mean, inflexible, and downright rude..But enough said on the first experience (take note please!) So for the good - who can beat a $3.47 happy hour? However, pouring $4 bottles of wine ("Canyon Ranch") makes it a fair value (ok so a 28% Cogs class of wine is just fair IMHO) and serving a 3 oz ramekin of burnt flavored popcorn as one of the 3 for $7 apps was just plain silly. (I mean, really, a 3 ounce ramekin? Popcorn is practically free, and it was bad to boot). The deep fried jalapenos were a lot of cornmeal crust and not much else. On a positive note, however, the peel & eat shrimp was really nicely cooked off - loved the seasoning. Bar server Sarah was lovely, charming & accomodating. She's a keeper.

I've been coming here for four years on business trips. The service and food are top notch. Burgers are fantastic including the French onion burger, which I dream about when I'm away. Drink specials and happy hour appetizers are exceptional.

Excellent service and the food is great. Even though they messed up my girlfriend's order, we still loved the experience. They did give us her steak for no charge even though it wasn't necessary to do that. Great atmosphere, too.

Best. Happy. Hour. Seriously, you can't find better when you are comparing what you get here to what you get at a standard bar. The beef tips are amazing, and trying all the different cocktails that normally I would be too cheap to buy is a lovely treat. Also great service!

Decent place to eat. We were staying at the hotel where this restaurant is for a few days ate breakfast and also had lunch. For breakfast we had a normal fare of eggs and ham with hashbrowns that were very good. For lunch we ordered soup the day which was mushroom bisque that was delicious. We also had salads and the catch of the day which was mahi fish which was cooked very well and the sautéed spinach with garlic was delicious. Our friends ordered sandwiches with french fries and they seemed happy with their selections as well. The dining room is beautiful everything seems well kept, we chose to sit outside on the patio which is also bonus because it was a beautiful day.

Recently enjoyed brunch here and also a full dinner. Up 1 more star! Bunch was great, nice options for ala carte offerings. It seems they are switching the awesome Bloody Mary bar out to a Mimosa bar. If that matters, give them a buzz to see which is offered when you are brunching. Bloody Mary's will still be available to enjoy, though. Last night we started our evening by enjoying a quick stop to the bar for Happy Hour, prior to our dinner reservations. The bar and the restaurant were both filled to capacity at 6:15pm on our random Tuesday night. They have revamped the drink specials and offerings (pics) and now offer wine, beer and martini flights. Pretty cool. I enjoyed the flight B (option 1), offering a flight pour of Malbec, Cabernet and Carmenere from the Chilensis and Oveja Negra wiinery for $7.00. All were tasty and enjoyed by hubs and I. We ordered a trio plate for $7 (or $3.47 each if you don't want 3 items) and finished our Calamari, buffalo chicken bites and blue cheese chips in time for our dinner reservation. Hubby ordered the filet Mignon, I ordered the Grouper special of the day. The filet was cooked perfectly to ordered temp, was tender and flavorful and enjoyed by the hubby. My pan fried grouper special was delicious, the generous portion of fresh grouper was cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed the accompanying purple potato torta. Sadly, the side of crab salad had bacon in it, but our server remembered my request for no meat and quickly brought me a lightly dressed side salad as a substitute, which was very nice. (Thanks to Ashley for that!) Service was attentive and the manager stopped by to check on us at one point. My Opentable reservation had been confirmed via phone ahead of time (I'm guessing due to the anticipated crowds) but I received a call this morning asking if our dining experience was enjoyable. Nice touch.

Had a nice tall rum and diet coke and then ordered a delicious starter - crab cakes! I only ordered the starter because the group ordered some appetizers to share, and I thought my starter would be enough. Well, the crab cakes were not only delicious but plentiful. I was served 2 nice size crab cakes; nice and crispy on the outside (not greasy at all), with nice chunks of crab (not just shredded) and with a great sauce that gave it just enough of a kick. In the end, it was plentiful enough to be my entree. Loved it and will order it again.

We frequent Shulas 347 often. Great food and service. We had one visit that a dish was not to my liking, the sauce was too sweet, the manager graciously exchanged it for another entrée.

Thought I would take my wife for a nice Valentine's Day lunch to avoid the rush and to get a decent seat at a nice restaurant without a hassle. Shula's 347 was supposed to be that place. Like all of the Dolphins teams in recent memory (sorry I'm a Pats fan) Shula's fell short. What I had hoped would be a crowded, hip lunch area was almost empty. The chrome and black interior screamed year 2001 and it seemed more like a hotel restaurant in a nice part of the lobby...oh wait, it was. Our food was pretty good, but not better than say our experiences at Houston's/Hillstone for similar money. My wife happily ate her Filet, but commented that Houston's and even Colorado's was more to her preference. I went with the steak sandwich. It was also very tasty but not something that I would streak across town to have again. The server was very nice making appropriate selections and making sure our order was correct. She also came by to bring plenty of drinks and was probably the best part of the lunch. Since it was my first time at Shula's I wanted to look around a little during our meal, but the high seat backs and wall isolated me from having any sort of feel for the place. I guess that sort of privacy is important for some people but I like to look. Would I go to Shula's again? Probably not unless I was asked to meet a work colleague there. Nothing was actually awful except for the Shula's Steak Sauce/A1 clone. My wife requested the real stuff (which they delivered) but after tasting the Shula's sauce I could hardly blame her.

Ate at the bar bloody mary was ok... 8 oz sirloin was very comparative to Fleming's steak house which is in my opinion the best . LoVed the crab macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes ... asparagus has a strong grill flavor ... on a sunday night it was perfect. Quiet a few families I loved the actual layout of this place im lookin forward to going during the summer and sitting outside . I also heard the sunday brunch is awesome with the bloody mary bar .. I give it 8.5

Second time I dined here and just as wonderful. To me it is one of the best restaurants in Heathrow/Lake Mary area. For sure fine dining, the inside is dark woods, classy, and not pretentious at all. Our server was super. The Thai chicken salad is one of my favorites! It has so many pieces of thinly sliced green peppers, yellow peppers, carrot, deep cilantro taste I mean veggies galore! Prickly pear margarita is also amazing! The service is great and so is the ambiance! I always go back!

Best happy hour in town! I've rarely found better. $3.47 for a martini flight, which is basically 3 glasses that contain a little over a shot glass' worth of a drink. You can also get 3 for $7 appetizers. Got 2 appetizer combos and 3 martini flights in one hour... my coworker did 4. Not bad for an hour's work. Bartenders were really fast and attentive, despite how busy the place got. Happy hour is from 4-7, so get there early! Of course, if you're having martini flights for 3 hours, it's probably best to either be staying at the Westin, or get a ride. =)

I stay at the hotel a lot for business and of course i've ventured down for breakfast a time or two. I always order the turkey omelet, which never lets me down. But to much disappointment when I came down earlier this week they weren't giving menus out. It was buffet only. I spoke to the waitress about it and she told me that at the time the menu was not available but that the buffet was a great option. She went over the options of the buffet with me but I was still pretty unhappy with it. So she sent over her supervisor who said due to how busy they were it wouldn't be possible for the chef to make an omelet. I looked around, but it was rather slow to be honest. There was maybe 3 other tables in the restaurant. I asked when the menu would be available and she told me that she didn't know and this is how things are going to be the next few days. So I told her that I would just be having coffee then. The server came back over with coffee apologizing for everything and told me that the coffee was on the house, which was a nice gesture. I've had my server a few different times and as usual she was awesome. She likes to joke around, ask about my day and never stops smiling which really makes you feel very welcomed. But the supervisor however was actually very rude. She was jittery and kind of just shook my complaint off. She didn't even apologize for the inconvenience.I honestly felt like she would have rather been anywhere but there. As I was walking out I overheard the supervisor talking to another server very rudely. Stating t that she should know how to do her job by now and if she (the supervisor) shouldn't have to explain how it works. I understand that I don't know the situation, but i've had that other server as well and i've never had an issue with her. She does her job very well, all the servers there do. So I think it was rather inappropriate that they be spoken to like that. This is the second time I have had issues with the supervisor and I do not think I will be back.

We were staying at the hotel so decided to eat here for a late dinner. The filet was cooked very well staff very friendly. Great date night spot. The soups were also fresh and flavorful. On the downside the sangria tasted like vodka. Yelp had a checkin offer so we got $6 off! Lunch menu looks good too.

I've visited Shula's 347 Grill enough to feel like the place is home. I dined there for several meal throughout the day during stays in Lake Mary, FL; however, dinner is my favorite. The dinner staff are polite, professional, warm, and inviting. After just a few visits, they began to recognize me by name, remember my drink order, and special accommodations for my Celiac disease / gluten intolerance. My dish of choice is the 8 oz filet, with a potato side, and an order of seasonal vegetables. The steak was always perfect, and I ordered it regular, butterflied, medium, and all the way up to well-done. Each time the meat was well-cooked, tender, and mouth watering. The BBQ shrimp on the appetizer menu were HUGE and delicious. I know that anything with bacon on it is a gimme, but they were just so good! Also: you can't go wrong with the raspberry sorbet... I might have had more than I should have, on multiple occasions. Thank you to Max and her staff: Seneca, Brittany, Kira, Karen, Paige, Anthony, Nicole, and JP. I apologize for not having the names of the bar staff, or the hostesses, but they are very much appreciated! You all made an evening meal at Shula's 347 an easy choice and a great experience.

Everyone please take note: Approx 3 mo ago my husband and I were visiting the Lake Mary area. After spending the whole day at the beach we decided to have an early dinner at Shula 347. Unfortunately, this was a mistake when we arrived which was at 4:00, we asked the hostess for a table for 2. She looks at some list and tells us sorry no tables available. However, its 4:00 and it did not look to be crowed at all, which I found to be strange and very rude. My husband turns back around and speaks with another lady who found us a table yes, outside, however, it was in a corner WTF, why are we being treated like this. Maybe because we weren't dressed in a tuxedo or a ball room gown. But this was very rude, and we figured Shula's restaurant can't be that good when his previous football team in reality sucked and continues to suck. So my husband and I decided to go across the way to Ruth Chris and amazing service. They greeted us with kindness and attended to us like always. We had no problem spending over $100 in a great steak and wine. THINK TWICE BEFORE EATING AT SHULA'S 347. Anyways one of there restaurants in Miami closed down if that's any indication. Ruth Chris is always the best.

One of the best happy hours in the area! Basically, they've got $3.47 apps, beers, and martinis. You can get a flight of three tiny martinis or beers for the same price as a large one, in case you want a sampler. You can do three apps for $7, but the portion sizes are smaller than a full order, so if you've got a favorite, it's better to just order a whole one. They carry Orlando Brewing beers, usually a blond, brown, and red, and they're great! Although they often run out of one or all three. I like their martinis, but I've found them a little watered down. It's happy hour though, so I can't complain too much, I just stick to beer. If you want a stiff martini, there are other places around to wet your whistle.

Shula's 347 is one of the best restuarant locations in the Lake Mary area, and there are alot of restaurants in Lake Mary! They have amazing menu items at truly affordable prices for lunch. The booths are nice and tall so you can have a business meeting or private conversation over lunch. Their happy hour is SUPERB. Not only are drinks cheap, but their appetizers are delicious and only $3.47 each. We usually order a bunch of different things and share. I always tell people this is the place for fresh fish. I know...they are a steak house...but they get their fish whole and cut it themselves (so I was told when I inquired). The chef prepares fish dishes that melt in your mouth and have just the right amount of seasoning or sauce. Personally, I prefer the more casual and hip atmostphere over a stuffy old man steak house feel. I highly recommend Shula's 347 Grill!

I've heard many of my coworkers raving about Shula's 347 Grill for quite some time. So, I was excited to finally give it a try. When I entered the lobby, I was immediately greeted by Jenny, with a friendly smile and a sincere "welcome". Jenny took the time to show us around the restaurant, and allowed us to view the private dining rooms, which are needless to say, beautiful. If fact, the entire restaurant is modern, yet elegant in its own way. Seneca, our waiter was pleasant and presented us with both the standard lunch menu as well as the brunch menu; and thoroughly answered all of our questions. He also informed us about the brunch drink options, which we chose to take advantage of. Shula's 347 Grill has a Bloody Mary & Mimosa bar, which allows the guest to create their own bloody or mimosa with the assistance of a bartender for a very affordable price. The bar featured a selection of fresh juices, and fruit to add to your creation. I decided to create a blood orange mimosa, which was pretty good. Paul, the bartender was eager to help and offer suggestions in order to create the perfect beverage. This leads us up to the most important part of the experience, the food! I chose to order the Chicken and Waffles. Shula's 347 Grill builds upon the traditional concept of chicken and waffles and adds their own twist. The fried chicken legs, pumpkin spice Belgian waffle, cinnamon maple pecan butter and Georgia peach compote go well together. The waffle was made fresh to order, the chicken cooked as it should be (crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside), the cinnamon maple pecan butter, although a bit heavy on the cinnamon was tasty (though the heat from the chicken and waffles caused some of the butter to melt prior to serving), the Georgia peach compote was interesting. The sweet yet tangy nature of the compote complimented the chicken well, though the peaches were a bit over cooked for my taste. Overall, I had an exceptional dining experience at Shula's 347 Grill. The service was well above par, the food great given the price, and the environment clean and welcoming. If you're looking for an affordable place to enjoy a nice brunch, defiantly consider this gem, which by the way is located beautiful Lake Mary Westin.

I took my friend here for her birthday after finding it on yelp. It sounded good so we tried it. It was completely dead in there which was fine. The part that wasn't fine was the food unfortunately. I had the arugula salad which was good even though I asked for no onions and it was smothered in them, no big deal I just picked them off. My friend got the mushroom and chicken flatbread which was burned and the seasonal veggies which were drowning in butter and not very good. I swear we're not picky eaters but this place could have done so much better esp since we were the only ppl there. I will say the creme brûlée was delicious and our waiter drew was really on top of things and did a great job. We won't go there again.

Yum, yum, and more yum!! The atmosphere was great, the service was great, the food and drinks were great! We live in the neighborhood and my husband had told me it was a sports-type bar/restaurant, so we had never gone. But it's not! It's an upscale restaurant with great food and service. We WILL be back!

The Food Was good, but didn't blow me away. I don't mind pay for great food, but I felt like the menu was a little overpriced. I ordered the cowboy steak and it was good, but I think I will stick with Fishbones or Ruths. \

Did I ever mention how awesome my happy hour experiences have been here? No? Let's fix that. Even if you don't drink (and you should, really), the food deals abound here at HH. They offer a selection of 8 or so of appetizer-size dishes that are all $3.47 each or 3 for $7. (except the shrimp). Note: if you order one @ $3.47, you'll get a larger serving than if you order 3 @ $7. My favorites include: fried calamari with banana peppers and a tangy lemon butter sauce, blackened tenderloin kabobs with bearnaise, and mussels in a white wine/garlic basil sauce. All very delicious and I have ordered each more than twice. They certainly know their way around a sauce at this establishment. Speaking of sauce, the drinks are great, too. They do beer, wine, and martini flights-choice of 3- for $3.47 (or, you can just order the whole beer, wine or martini of your choice for $3.47). The Lemon Paradise is a fave- Fris Vodka, sour mix, fresh squeezed lemon juice and simple syrup. Always professional and friendly service here and I find the experience a nice change from the maddening din at FishBones across the street. It's never going to be as crowded here, which is fantastic....for me. Y'all just go on and keep thinking this is just some random hotel restaurant and I'll keep on enjoying myself on the patio with a mini-Lemon Paradise in one hand, a bearnaise-laden steak kabob in the other, and a smug look on my face. shulas347lakemary.com/Me…

A small quiet place overlooked by the hotel it is joint to - Shula's Grill was an effort targeted toward mixing the bar scene and a restaurant. This could possibly be the most stereotypical meeting location. I came only for the restaurant (not drinking spirits) and found it a little underwhelming in all aspects besides the most important - food quality. The environment was small and subdued, though clean and professional. The staff were also clean and professional. I had a burger with coleslaw and a creme brûlée. Everything was super overpriced - the tea was $5. Don't expect to pay less than $20 for lunch per person. The wait was very long too. My family was one of the 4 other guest tables present and the food took over 30 minutes to arrive. The redeeming part of it was the food itself - possibly the best burger and best coleslaw I've had was Shula's. The creme brûlée was also divine. Despite this, I probably won't come again - the food simply didn't merit the exorbitant prices.

Didn't sit in the restaurant because it was bought out for a private event. So I can't review anything about the look or decor of the place. I sat in the hotel bar lounge which serves food from Shula's. The service was very prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. I chose the crab cake appetizer and Wine Country burger. The crab cakes were a bit small for $15 but were cooked well and good quality crab meat. The burger was tasty and I liked the goat cheese, field greens and roasted tomatoes that are on it. I would go back to try other things and have the actual restaurant experience.

Very attentive service. The seating is very comfortable The crab cakes are a must 97 percent crab. The steak was perfect as well as the sides. The scallops with risotto were sublime. The desserts were also perfect. A very good experience and great food, definitely a place to come back for locals.

Great steak house. We were provided with just the right amount attentive, non-intrusive service. Generous drinks, good beer selection. We were here for a relaxed anniversary dinner on a weeknight - was just right. The steaks were cooked to perfection. A bit pricey, but definitely a go-to for a special occasion or business dinner.

Typical hotel food. I ordered a wine country burger medium well and I received well done. Then they brought it to me in a to go container. After I started eating my waiter did try to correct the issue-so kudos to him. Aside from the service- the food really is over priced and not even good. I ordered a carrot cake and it was dry with poured over honey. I've had better carrot cake at publix. Save your money and walk across the street.

Incredible experience- We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and wanted to have a special experience. Boy did they deliver. First of all we were able to make a reservation online. When we got there they were expecting us and we were placed in a wonderful location, fitting our reserved status. When we told them it was our anniversary, we got a card of congratulations from the staff. The meal was just heaven. I cannot commend the staff too highly on how perfectly our filet's were cooked or how wonderful the service - attentive but not too crowding. They checked in on us at every stage. There were managers walking around making sure that everything was perfect. It was. We finished with a complimentary dessert - on Shula's - in recognition of our special day. What really blew us away was the follow up phone call the next day to ensure we were happy. Absolutely, hands down, best restaurant in the area. Our only suggestion - how about offering guests the option of purchasing some house wine in a carafe? A small nit indeed. Thank you Shula's for the perfect anniversary!!

This place is so good. First the staff are very friendly, ask for Erica. They are also very knowledgeable. They get all of their fish fresh each afternoon. I had Cobia one night and Grouper another and they were both amazing! Also very great wines. Can't wait to come back for work to eat here!

I wish I could put 0 stars. I am staying at this Westin for a conference. The Shula's which is located in the hotel has some of the rudest wait staff that I have ever come in contact with. The first night I was whacked in the head not once... but twice with a table umbrella by the server. I didn't even receive an apology from the unbelievably rude waitress. At breakfast we waited about 30 minutes for our check. Then, the next day I ordered a tea. That's right a tea. Not only did it cost $5 and was only half way filled, but the server was as rude as rude could be...making faces at me and my friend and making comments under her breath. I had enough so I spoke with the manager "Larry" who didn't even offer to comp my $5 tea bag. He basically just said sorry. Thanks Larry! This has left such a bad taste in my mouth I'm considering not ever staying at a Westin again.

Recently went for lunch with some co-workers and was very pleased. The food was excellent and lunch was under $10. I had the black bean soup and pulled pork sliders lunch combo. The service was good and we were able to eat lunch in a hour and be back at the office. I will definitely be coming back for lunch and hope to try out brunch and dinner in the near future

We've been to Shula's several times and have never been disappointed. The service is fast and friendly and the food has been awesome. Not cheap, but the service and food quality won't disappoint you. 5 Stars!!

I like the concept, I think. I can never tell if I am in a restaurant or a bar, bit it seems to work OK for a Hotel location. The food is good, not spectacular and the service is good, not super high end service but professional and accommodating. Tonight I had a wedge and a piece of fish. I thought the wedge had entirely too much blue cheese dressing on it and was very salty but the fish was excellent. With a glass of generic Malbec, my choice, is was a nice, fairly light, dinner. My Wife had a traditional burger with baked potato, the person who delivered our order, not our server, forgot her butter, sour cream and ketchup. Did a drop and run with the delivery and we had to wait to catch our waitress as she walked by. BUT she checked back with us a couple of times and was very accommodating. All in all it was an OK experience. Not the top of my list but I go back occasionally when I am in the area and have mixed experiences. On other occasions I have had their filet which I think is right up there with the best in the city. If I was rating THAT visit I would give them a 4+, but tonight only a 3.

Mixed experiences on both of my visits for brunch. My first visit was with a large party in the back room. My second was in the main dining room, next to a large party. Not sure why we were seated next to them when the entire place was empty. On my first visit the sandwich I ordered was disappointing. Several in our group had better experiences with the quality of the food, but some waited an additional 20 minutes. On my second visit, we were a party of three. The hostess brought a third place mat to the table, but we had trouble getting utensils. We all decided to try the breakfast buffet. While the eggs and potatoes were good, the bacon was almost raw and there was no syrup for the pancakes. The waitress was nice enough to bring us some cooked bacon and syrup. I wandered back up to the buffet, and nothing had been done about the raw bacon... On both occasions, the food was just so-so. Where they excel is the Bloody Mary Bar. A wide selection of options to add to your glass and a very helpful and knowledgeable bartender to make suggestions. If they could get the food up to the level of the Bloody Marys, I might go back.

Went in expecting nothing special - I mean, come on, it's attached to a hotel lobby - but was pleasantly surprised. I had the standard Cheeseburger with Parm. Fries, and fiance had the French Onion Burger with sweet potato fries. I would've liked a tad more salt & much more pepper on the regular burger. But the flavor of the Onion burger was fantastic. Both burgers were perfectly cooked to the requested medium-rare. This is one of the (very) few places around Orlando that knows how to properly cook a medium-rare burger. Both orders of fries were decent. They also have a pretty good happy hour until 7pm with $3.47 (get it?!) Beer and Martini flights, and appetizers.

Meh. I've experienced better. NY Strip was cooked to my liking, was a nice cut and had nice grill marks... the bad - had no taste, service was below par and at $33 was overpriced. Calamari fries were ok, sauces were bleh. Salad was mediocre as it had too much stuff on it... bacon, egg, tomato, cucumber and crouton with a little bit of greens. Service was slow and confused. I did like the atmosphere. BTW... $12 for a mediocre glass of wine.

Shula's is a great place to go with a group. We had a party of 7 and we had a very cozy dining room with a flat screen tv! Since the tv was on silent we could hear conversation and those who wanted to could keep an eye on the game! Our server was very professional! She was friendly and knowledgeable. I thought the food was plated attractively, but tasted average. It wasn't bad at all. It just wasn't something that knocked your socks off!

  • Jason B.

Service was excellent! They worked as a team, food was served hot, and drinks were stout. Tuna appetizer was good, but strip with blue cheese crust was better. Expensive restaurant, and seemed filled with hotel patrons with expense accounts.

Great steak, and very good service. Our server actually has a little flashlight allowing you to cut your steak a bit, take a good look to make sure it's cooked to your orders. The following day I even got a call to thank me for dining with them. It was very touching. I would say it's generally a place for business travelers, but the food was quality enough for a recommendation if you want a good night of food as well.

No bueno. Service was great but the good ends there. Ordered NY Strip MR with asparagus. Not only did it arrive MW but it was very chewy and dry. No way the steaks are Prime and it still surprises me that chefs at expensive restaurants don't know how to cook a steak. Asparagus was over cooked as well, soggy and swimming in butter. Will not be returning.

We went to shulas tonight. I enjoyed the dragon berry martini and the bartender did an amazing job at making them. But I noticed that every time I ordered one, my server Kira, would take the remainder of my martini and pour it into the top of the shaker and take it over by the bar? I'm not sure of the rules at shulas but I'm under the impression that servers aren't allowed to "drink on the job." Service was ok and food and drinks were good but I couldn't believe what I saw at such a "nice" restaurant.

I had lunch with my wife at Shula's 347 the other day. I had the NY strip with asparagus and their smashed potatoes. The steak was cooked as asked and had great flavor. The asparagus was wonderful as were the potatoes. My wife had the grilled veggie special, she loved it. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is that the noise level. There were no more than 10 tables seated at the time and the back ground noise was very loud. I would only think that you would be yelling when the restaurant is full in the evening.

Ravioli appetizer and house salad were really good. My filet was very nice, and my wife enjoyed the Shula Burger. We prefer Coke products to Pepsi, so that was a disappointment. The service was mostly good with a few not so great moments. We were a bit too full for dessert.

I've only been to one Shula's and it was more of a full on steak house. This location in Lake Mary, FL has a more casual but eclectic flair to it. The menu has a couple of carnivore offerings, but they also have plenty of fish, salad and even sandwiches to choose from. Their wine list was quite acceptable and our table had a Merlot, Pino Noir and a Malbec. The wine served as our cocktail and accompaniment with our meal. The waitstaff was not only good, they were entertaining! They chatted us up, made sure we had everything we needed and ensured that our orders were received as we had placed. Those of us on the end of the table shared bites among our fish and beef choices so we could taste our way through several offerings from the menu. Dessert - had to have it! Luscious decadent rich chocolate flourless cake with a raspberry coulis, an individual bourbon pecan pie and the rest of our wine finished of a great meal with great service. Many times business dinners can be stuffy and uncomfortable since you don't always know everyone very well. Not true for this evening - the company was great, the conversations flowed like melted butter and everyone enjoyed their meal, wine and being treated to a wonderful evening out!

My family and I went to Shulas 347 for a graduation dinner a few months ago, and I quite surprised by my experience. I knew that it was a more casual environment from the Shulas steakhouse, but I must say the service and ambiance was exactly what you expect of any fine dining restaurant. I had the fish addition for the evening and it was truly amazing, kudos to their chef. The service was awesome from the greet at the door until our departure. It truly made our celebration not only pleasurable but a night to remember. My family and I will be back during our visits to Florida.

Ordered ny strip med-well to well done. Server suggested filleting. Cook decided it would taste better w it in tact. Steak came out from rare to well done. Sent it back and it came back crispy like fried chicken. It's the first time in years I've had to use steak sauce. Disappointing. Service was ok...overall have had better for less. :(

Great food, great service. Fantastic filet and the apps were great, no complaints at all. Everyone from the servers to the valet went above and beyond. The quality was equal or better to anything else in Lake Mary FL (and a far greater value than Ruth's Chris Steak House) and well worth every penny! Have been a handful of times and will continue to be a frequent customer.

An OK steak and always a good selction of fresh fish. This place keeps getting better and the service, including manager really try to keep you happy. They sometime seem a little green but try hard since they have a lot of competion in the area. All in a good place to enjoy a nice dinner at a lower price point than Ruth Chris.

Shared an anniversary dinner together and was extremely pleased. From being seated to the order and service - were quite nice. Wife had Salmon and I had Ribeye. Both were very tasty and had a good presentation. They even provided us a celebration champaign and an Anniversary Card. We will return.

Visited for a light evening meal. Tabitha was very personable and attentive. Obviously the wait staff is very well trained! We had stopped in earlier for a before dinner cocktail and Kaitlyn was very friendly and a pleasure to have as our server. The fried cheese ravioli was a good suggestion for my husband and just enough to satisfy. I had the wild mushroom ravioli. The sundried tomatoes on top of the spinach created a very oily taste until I "squeezed" the spinach with my fork to let it drain the oil off. The ravioli itself was excellent!

Well well it's Friday Happy Hour again!!! Shula's 347 happy hour menu is a must!!! It's very hard to decide what to have. So we picked two of each for our table. All very good. Pork Riblets, Fried Calamari, Mussels, jalapeños , wings , potato wedges, shrimp peel and eat and finally the ever tender beef tips. Ask for Richard. He's a great waiter with many talents. EMT , soccer player and best of all a hospitality major. Great job Richard!!!!!!

Overpriced and underwhelming. Not sure what I was expecting eating at a hotel restaurant but man - this is like an overpriced Denny's. my cowboy steak was really plain and the risotto seemed microwaved. the service was creepily attentive. the only plus was the exceptionally attractive hostess who was a Cancer sign.

Went for Sunday brunch with the whole family, from toddler to grandma. Staff was very nice and accommodating with the kids. Everybody liked their brunch items they ordered, breakfast burger, steak and eggs, chicken and waffles, and pancakes. The best part was the Bloody Mary bar! They were so good and fun to make! I highly recommend this place!

Loved it again. Had full on dinner. Crab cakes are "just good" and also had the Arugula salad again. The Shula preferred wine is thick and smooth. Flat awesome. Loved it. Had three glasses. Filet mignon was great. And we just ordered the carrot cake and molten lava cake. About to throw. Down. See ya next time Shulas!

I had a work dinner situation where a couple of the parties were wanting something Ruth Chris good while members if the party would rather not spend in the ballpark of such a place. When I suggested Shulas when i hadn't yet tried it was a bit risky and I was hoping for something at least half as good. What we got was nothing but awesomeness from my Long Island ice tea to minestrone and on to burger I have become a fan of this place and will make it a frequent dinner spot moving forward. The rest of the party was drooling over their steaks and talking about returning here down the road for such deliciousness. Come here for business or pleasure and you will be well satisfied.

Great dinner. But next time, we'll skip the appetizers. We ordered drinks and the toasted ravioli appetizer at the bar while we waited for our table. The tiny bar consists of 8 jammed-together seats that slope you backwards at a very awkward angle such that you have to strain to sit up and get your drink. Not feng shui. Not comfortable. Not even close. The 8 small deep-fried, cheese-filled(?) ravioli came out on a bed of fried angel-hair wheat pasta and a small ramekin of what appeared to be marinara. Nothing remotely interesting about these small hard bites. It felt like we were eating crispy-fried dough. I'd recommend skipping this. Table ready. Once seated, our very cordial wait-person briefed us on his specials, made a few recommendations, took our drink orders, and quickly had fresh hot bread in the table, all in short order, and showing a nice expedient professionalism. Nice save from the lousy ravioli. We ordered house salads, the fresh fish special, and the New York strip. The salads were delicious. Fresh, crisp, loaded with various add-on's like tomatoes, onions, carrots - very well done. Fresh mahi, nicely grilled, with fresh asparagus spears. A nice-sized NY strip, grilled, with a nice char and medium-rare center. We split our meal so we could each enjoy surf-n-turf. And both is us agreed our meal was a hit. Interestingly, our server was probably the most memorable part of our evening. He had the intuitiveness to check in with us without disturbing us - he showed us both how an efficient, professional wait-person can add (or all-too-often detract) from a night out. If only each and every time we go to dinner, we could receive this same high-quality level of service.

Had a wonderful valentines dinner at shulas 347. My flight was delayed and we had to move our reservation back. They were great about it and happily serve you til closing at midnight. You never felt rushed out. The food was very good. The ribeye melts in your mouth. Great wine selection and fabulous desserts!! Definitely recommend!

After ordering an $80 bottle of wine and a variety of food, one would think they might receive semigood service... Instead, I got none, then waited for about an hour and ten minutes just to pay my bill. If this hadn't happened, I probably would have continued ordering food and drinks. When I go out, I expect to be taken care of... If I'd stayed home, I might not have stayed hungry and thirsty.

Food was amazing. We had crabcakes and spinach dip appetizers. I had the 16oz cowboy cut steak served on the bone. I had an extra order of risotto and scallops. Every item was melt in your mouth. There were 4 people in our party and everyone raved about food. Awesome atmosphere.

I have to say this is one of the best all around experiences I've had while eating out in quite some time. I ordered the NY strip (medium rare) and it was cooked more on the rare side which is fine by me. It was one of the best steaks I've ever tasted. Both tender and flavorful. The asparagus were absolutely amazing. They were balsamic glazed and chargrilled to perfection. Best I've had. French fries were tasty. Oh, and the seared tuna, calamari fries, spinach dip appetizers were all very delicious. Desserts were also all on point. The apple cobbler and traditional NY cheesecake were to die for. Not to mention our server was terrific. She was very attentive and very knowledgable of the menu. Seriously canNOT wait to go back here. Amazing experience all around!

I lived in Cleveland for awhile where we had Shula's Steak 2 and was always a fan, good good and service any time I had been there. This Shula's was pretty good as well... although I only ate there for breakfast for a few mornings in a row, the staff was always pleasant, friendly, and the buffet or breakfast (whichever you chose to order from) was always great. My coffee was never empty either. The space was immaculate and clean too which is a plus for me. If you are in Lake Mary, I would definitely recommend this place :)

Had a very good experience here. Taylor, our waiter, was spot on with excellent service, timely on the refills and went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. The meal was phenomenal. I actually text a few friends after that telling them about this evening. We all like to patronize a good place and certainly will be back!

The 347 happy hour gives u choices for both apps and drinks. I went with a flight of martinis fir 3.47...cant go wrong for the price and choice...if u find one u like, u can get a full drink for the same hh price. My choices were: hail mary (too sweet for me), the rasberry blitz (too sweet but good fruit taste) and the coach' corner (great cucumber taste plus no masking the vodka...perfect). The app portions are what u would expect for 3.47, small but yummy...the calamari is what we order the most. Very nice and speedy service. A great place to stop by after work to enjoy a beverage...or two...or three :D

Enjoyed a good steak and wonderful crab cakes. The sour note of the evening was being charged EXTRA because I requested blue cheese stuffed olives as a garnish for my $12.00 Belvedere Martinis. At the end of the evening imagine my surprise to see $4.00 added to the bill for a total of 6 olives (two drinks worth). Not a peep from Drew our server, when I ordered my drinks about this foolish practice. When I questioned him about the bill, he agreed it was a stupid policy. Who charges for a cocktail garnish?! I wonder what gimlet onions, twists or maraschino cherries go for at Shula's. Petty, very petty and off-putting.

I met a friend for my birthday on Tuesday for lunch. It was very quiet as there wasn't much business in the restaurant at around 12:30 pm. We were served by Becky who provided perfect service. I ordered the crap and artichoke dip. I don't think it was cooked long enough. Cheese wasn't big pieces and not nice and somewhat creamy as it should have been. I had a white sangria with my lunch. At $11 I think it is pricey but the drink was very good. My friend ordered the Mediterranean salad. She left all the lettuce and mentioned she should have ordered my salad. I had the Thai peanut salad. Absolutely delicious. I ate every bite. I have been to this restaurant/bar for happy hour. It is the most amazing deal in town. For $3.47 you get your choice of appetizers and they are delicious. Drinks are also very cheap at that time. Shula's is a great find. Located in the Westin on International Drive in Lake Drive. Lovely hotel. Check it out.

I came here on a business lunch with seven other people .... we had made a reservation but didn't need to, they were shockingly dead. The staff was attentive the entire time, refills were given without asking, and food came out promptly. I was teased because I was the first one done and basically licking the plate of my salmon salad :) I also ordered a side of their sweet potato fries and my mind was blown .... cinnamon on the sweet potato fries? Why don't more people do this?!?!?! I had ordered them for the table but the plate never left my side :)

Outstanding! Met all my expectations. Beautiful restaurant with an appropriate ambiance for a high end steakhouse. Excellent service. Indoor and outdoor seating with private dining rooms. Excellent, quality beef at a reasonable price. Good wine selection. Good choice of appetizers and vegetables. Excellent Caesar salad (and a number of salad entrée options). Brunch on Sundays (11-2). The only thing I would improve upon is more Don Shula and Dolphin memorabilia. I am a huge Shula/Dolphin fan ever since my family had season tickets for the Perfect Season in '72! I will definitely be back! Great spot for lunch by oneself (my experience today), date night, or a group outing (social or business).

Atmosphere and service was great, the food was not. Had a very bitter mojito and the scallop with mushroom risotto. The 4 scallops (although cooked perfectly) were small and not a decent entree portion. The risotto was undercooked and crunchy and the spinach was burnt. Very disappointed and will not be going back.
